Domestic Staffing Solutions

Our placement fee is 3% of one year's gross salary. Included in this fee is a six month replacement period. The replacement period assures you that if your employee is fired or leaves the job for any reason, we will replace her/him without any additional fee. Where possible, we like for the candidate to work a "trial week" before you pay our fee. This helps make for a better hiring choice.

If the employee is a temporary or occasional employee a flat fee of $125.00 for placement will be charged. 

In addition to the placement fee, there is a $25.00 application fee, which will be credited toward the fee upon hire. This starts the ball rolling and includes helpful information about the hiring process with a list of suggested questions for the interview, certain qualities to look for in a good domestic employee, tips on employer/employee relationships, employer/employee sample contracts, tax information and more.  It also includes coordinating interviews between domestic applicants and clients, as well as periodic status check-ins to see how things are going between employer and employee after hire.  This fee will also put you on our mailing list, if you should choose to be included, for our quarterly newsletter filled with relevant topics.

There is also a $49.00 background check fee, which includes a check of criminal history, Sexual Offender Registry, Social Security verification, driving history, address history, verification of prior employment, Child Abuse Registry and reference checks. This service is optional, but for the safety of your home, business and family we do strongly recommend the background checks be done.  It is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Clients who hire a domestic from Domestic Staffing are entitled to replacing said employee at no further charge, whether the employee resigns or is terminated for up to six months.  After the six month period only the $49.00 background check and the 3% or flat fee of $125.00 will be charged for a replacement.

There are payment plans available if you are unable to pay all fees at one time.
